Guide to Using Postback for Media Performance Optimization

You can check the basic concept of postback in another guide [Postback : What Is It and Why Is It Needed].
This guide provides guidelines on how to use adbrix Postback.


*Postback Settings

a. Go to Tracking Link > Add Tracking Link menu, and select the channel.
b. Select 'Postback' to see the filtered list of channel that can use postback.


c. Enable "Media Optimization" option in step "3. Advanced Settings(Optional)".


1) New Install Postback (Unlimited Free)

When using 'New Install' postback, whenever a user was acquired through the tracking link, the result will be fired to the media.
It is free and unlimited to use, regardless of the number of media, the amount of time or usage.

a. Enable this feature by checking the checkbox.


b. After enabling it, you can disable it by editing feature when you don't want to use postback anymore.


2) Event Postback (Premium Service)

When using 'Event' postback, whenever a user acquired through the tracking link completes a certain action, the result will be fired to the media.
Event postback feature is premium service. For more information, please contact abx@igaworks.com.

a. Enable this feature by checking the checkbox.
b. Select the event type that will be fired to the media. [See more on how to set custom tags]
 b-1. Select the event type that is integrated.  

 b-2. You may add two or more event type that will be fired to the media.

c. After enabling it, you can disable it by editing feature when you don't want to use Postback anymore.
 c-1. Go to Edit Tracking Link menu, and click on 'Change' button under 'Postback' section.

 c-2. You can on/off the selected Event postback by using the toggle buttons on the right side, or you can just uncheck the checkbox to disable it.
        Current set information will not be deleted even when it disabled. If you want to use it again, you can enable it again.
