Attribution : Tracking Link Creation(1) - Basic

This article will guide you through the process of creating a tracking link to analyze the media performance.

* Go to 'adbrix > Tracking Link > Add Tracking Link' menu.

1. Select Channel

   * Select channels where you will run the campaign. You can select the advertising channels that are already been registered, or you can add new ones by 'Add new channel'.
   * Use 'Bulk upload' feature to register multiple tracking links at once[See More]


   a. Category : See partner media and custom media separately.
       - Partner? Media of which the ad performance can be tracked through adbrix tracking link.
       - Custom? Your own added media or advertising channel.

   b. Geo : See media by channel.

   c. Postback : See media that has completed postback integration with adbrix. - What Is Postback?

   d. Search Channel : Directly search by channel name you want to find.


2. Set Channel Link

   a. Title : Input campaign title. e.g.)Cauly_SummerNewArrivals_MaterialA, New Visitors Event_August

   b. Landing URL : Input the URL that leads to the market. It will be filled automatically if the registration of the app has been properly completed.



3. Advanced Settings(Optional)

   * All advanced settings are optional.

   a. Media Optimization
       - Choose whether to provide postback to the media.
       - Please check this Detailed Guide for more information.


   b. Searching Tags : Search tools and filtering feature is available. 


        - Cost Type : Select cost type.
           CPI (Cost per Install) = Cost per app install
           CPE (Cost per Execution) = Cost per app open
           CPA (Cost per Action) = Cost per app action (EX_Level3 completion, Log-in, Purchase)
           CPC (Cost per Click) = Cost per click
           CPM (Cost per Mille) = Cost per 1,000 impressions
           By account = Purchase a space of a certain ad inventory for a period of time without guaranteeing the number of impressions or number of clicks
           By period = Purchase a certain ad inventory for a period of time without guaranteeing the number of impressions or number of clicks

        - Reward Type : Select whether the reward will be given.
        - Campaign Type : Select campaign type.
        - CustomTag : You can create your own search condition to use.
                                Click on 'Add a Tag' button, input the tag name, and save.
                                 Ex_October Event, BannerMaterialA, MenTarget

   b-1. Result Page of Tags Searching

        - After setting tags for searching, you can select the tags as below in 'Tracking Link > Reporting' menu.


           See the filtered result of tracking links that matches the registered tags, or you can extract it to excel.



   c. Advertising Creative : Register the banner image that will be used as the advertising creative.
                        You can check the registered image in the reporting screen.


   d. Marketing KPI : Input marketing budget and period.
                            If it is integrated with sales, marketing ROI and LTV will be calculated automatically.


   e. Role Setting : You can assign roles to access to the tracking link created by a certain account. Use checkboxes to assign roles to access to data in more detail, such as access to sales or Custom Tags.

4. Review and Completion

   - Review the registered items and finish the final registration process. Go back to previous menu and edit if you want to make any changes.


5. Tracking Link Test 

Step1. Create a tracking link. 

Step2. Copy the URL in Tracking Link Report page. 

Step3. Send the copied URL by e-mail or messenger

Step4. Click on the received URL on a new mobile device that has never activated that app before. 

Step5. Download, and activate the app. 
*Notice : If a user who has ever activated the app before activates the app through the campaign, it will not be counted as a new install.
